• Discover Orthodoxy
  • Follow the Tradition
"Now, driven by love towards all the saints, we have arrived at the essence of the Tradition which is proper for the Churches. This is so that those who are well informed may keep the Tradition ... so that others may be strengthened against the fall or error which has recently occurred because of ignorance and ignorant people, with the Holy Spirit conferring perfect Grace on those who have a correct Faith." - St. Hippolytus of Rome, The Apostolic Tradition, 1
  • Read the Fathers
Let everyone choose a reading from the Fathers which corresponds to his way of life. Let the monk who lives in the cenobitic life read the Fathers who wrote instructions for cenobitic monks; let the Christian who lives in the world read the Holy Fathers who pronounced their teachings for all Christianity. Let everyone, in whatsoever calling he be, draw forth abundant instruction in the writings of the Fathers. -Bishop Ignatius Brianchaninov
  • Worship in Truth
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
  • Illuminate the World
Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them. (John 12:35-36)

St. Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society

Welcome to St. Cyril of Alexandria Orthodox Christian Society!

Our mission is to establish a community of Orthodox Christian Theological fellowship whereby prospective and current young servants, scholars and missionaries can utilize various resources for spiritual growth and leadership development in present or future Christian ministry through affordable and attainable education.

The true value of education starts with experience and praxis, and Orthodox Christian education is about actualizing theological dogmas into a life-style of communal mission and service. We invite you to participate in our activities to experience the depth, diversity and modernity of our Orthodox faith through the eyes of Church Fathers, History, Liturgical practice, and the contemporary desire to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:16).
